Our commitment to Health and Safety is supported by all who work at DHF Engineering. 

We are dedicated to maintaining the highest safety standards and safest possible working environment, whether that be in our own Manufacturing Facility or onsite at clients premises. We are continuously carrying out training and development of our staff and have received certifications and accreditation with the following agencies.

National Examination Board for Occupational Health and Safety

NEBOSH is the leading Health and Safety Qualification for the UK construction industry.

Our company Health and Safety policy and procedures are coordinated by Company Director Angie, who is qualified with NEBOSH in National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, and National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.

European Conformity Certificate

CE marking is a certification mark that indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the EEA.

CE certification is mandatory for all Fabricated Structural Steelwork. DHF Engineering Ltd apply our stringent externally audited procedures to our manufacturing process across the board.

Safe Contractor Scheme

The Safe Contractor Scheme is the market leading Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme. Being an approved/accredited member of Safe-Contractor demonstrates commitment to sustainable and ethical practices.

DHF Engineering Ltd has a comprehensive H&S and environmental policy that is regularly externally audited.

Our Safe Working Practice incorporates comprehensive Risk Assessment and Method Statements for all of our workshop and site activities.

Construction Plant Competence Scheme

DHF Engineering Ltd operatives are fully trained in the use of plant and equipment required to carry out their duties.

We have in house Appointed Peron (Lifting Operations) for production of crane lift plans, and all staff involved in erecting structural steelwork are Slinger/Signaller trained and certified.

International Powered Access Federation

IPAF promoted the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide by providing technical advice, influencing legislation, safety and training.

All DHF Engineering Ltd installers who are involved in ‘Working at Height’ are fully IPAF trained in the safe use of MEWP access equipment and safety Harnesses.
